Office of the Month

KLD is proud to recognize its Guidance Services and Career Development Unit (GSCDU) as the Office of the Month. This dedicated team has exhibited a great deal of effort and commitment in pursuit of students’ holistic development, providing invaluable support services that extend beyond academic excellence.

One of the highlights of the GSCDU’s recent endeavors was a significant benchmarking activity with the Counseling and Career Center of the University of Santo Tomas (UST). This collaborative effort allowed the team to gain valuable insights and best practices from one of the country’s premier higher education institutions. By benchmarking against UST’s established counseling and career services, the GSCDU aims to further elevate its offerings and provide even more effective support to KLD students.

In addition to their benchmarking initiative, the GSCDU has also taken proactive steps to foster a supportive environment for students’ mental wellbeing. Through an exhibit and a webinar, the unit has raised awareness about mental health issues and provided essential resources to help students cope with stress, anxiety, and other challenges. These initiatives accentuate the GSCDU’s dedication to promoting a healthy and nurturing campus community.

KLD extends its heartfelt congratulations to the entire GSCDU team for their outstanding work. We are grateful for their dedication and look forward to witnessing their continued contributions to the growth and development of our institution.
