KLD gets a passing rate of 85.71, is top-performing school in MLE
Dasmariñas City. In a remarkable achievement, the Midwifery graduates of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmarinas (KLD) have proven their mettle by excelling in the recent Midwifery Licensure Examination (MLE), securing KLD’s position among the top-performing schools in the country.

Recognizing the importance of a conducive environment for success, KLD went above and beyond by providing transportation, meals, and accommodation to the students during the examination period. This comprehensive support system contributed to the students’ focused preparation and eventual success.
Out of the 42 students who undertook the MLE examination on November 5-6, 2023, 36 of them successfully passed, which attested the institution’s commitment to academic excellence. In preparation for the exam, the KLD Institute of Midwifery provided a series of review sessions as a way of extending its extensive support for KLD Midwifery student-examinees to ensure their full preparation prior to the date of examination.
As a testament to the outstanding performance of KLD’s Midwifery students, the institution has been accorded the distinction of being ranked as the 10th top-performing school in the Philippines. The KLD’s remarkable passing score of 85.71 reflects the dedication of both the students and the faculty.
KLD’s exceptional achievement reinforces its commitment to producing competent and highly skilled professionals, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s pursuit of academic excellence. The success of the Midwifery students on the national licensure examination is a testament to the quality education and holistic support system provided by KLD.

City employees unite in spirited Sportsfest: KLD faculty and staff showcase sportsmanship and camaraderie


In a vibrant celebration of unity and healthy competition, the City Employees Sportsfest recently concluded with fervor, bringing together city workers in a display of camaraderie and sportsmanship. The event featured four dynamic teams—Awesome Orange, Fantastic Pink, Brilliant Blue, and Amazing Green—each embodying the spirit of teamwork and community.
Adding an extra layer of enthusiasm to the Sportsfest were the faculty and staff members from Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmarinas (KLD), strategically distributed among the competing teams. This cross-team collaboration not only amplified the sense of unity but also showcased the diversity and talents within the city’s workforce.
Participants engaged in a series of spirited games and events, ranging from traditional sports to team-building activities. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as individuals from various departments, including KLD educators and staff, came together to celebrate their shared commitment to well-being and camaraderie.

KLD Supreme Student Council delights children at National Children’s Month fair
The National Children’s Month Fair, held on November 29, 2023, at COD Arena, was a delightful experience for Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD). Led by the Supreme Student Council, KLD actively participated in the event, bringing joy to the faces of young attendees through a variety of engaging activities and generous giveaways.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Supreme Student Council President Mr. Emmanuel Castro shared that their involvement in the National Children’s Month was truly gratifying as they witness the children’s genuine happiness during our activities and gift-giving was heartwarming.
The KLD Supreme Student Council organized diverse activities, including storytelling, book reading, and a sandbox with molds for creative play. Children were treated to an array of toys and small gifts, such as canvas and paint materials, balloons, and modeling clays.
Mr. Castro extended thanks to the KLD President Dr. Juanito “Johnny” Cabanias and the Institute of Student Affairs, Character Education and Citizenship (ISACEC) Dean Jezreel “Jeel” Del Espiritu Santo for their constant support. Their collaborative efforts contributed to the success of KLD’s participation in the National Children’s Month Fair.
Mr. Castro mentioned that they had received substantial support from their school leaders, and he found it heartening to observe the collaborative efforts that resulted in the success of the event. The genuine smiles, laughter, and joy from the children were deemed truly priceless.
Closing the event on a positive note, the Supreme Student Council President affirmed KLD’s commitment to participating in similar events in the future, stating, “We will surely be part of this meaningful celebration again next year, continuing to spread joy and create memorable experiences for the children in our community.”

In a significant stride towards ensuring institutional excellence and efficiency, Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmarinas (KLD) celebrates the completion and implementation of a series of comprehensive manuals. These manuals, covering research, administration, student affairs, and faculty guidelines, stand as a testament to KLD’s commitment to providing a robust academic framework for its community.
Months of meticulous planning and collaboration have resulted in the creation of a Research Manual that serves as a guide for students and faculty engaged in academic research. This manual outlines best practices, ethical considerations, and methodologies, fostering a culture of rigorous and ethical research within the institution.
The Administrative Manual, a cornerstone of organizational structure, streamlines administrative processes, ensuring clarity and consistency in daily operations. Its implementation is expected to enhance the overall efficiency of administrative functions, promoting a smoother workflow within the institution.
Meanwhile, the Student Manual serves as a comprehensive guide for students, offering insights into academic policies, code of conduct, and resources available to support their educational journey. Grocery supplies and rice allocations bring relief to city employees and KLD faculty and staff

In a compassionate endeavor to support the well-being of the city’s dedicated employees and educators, Congressman Pidi Barzaga and Mayor Jennifer Austria-Barzaga extended a generous hand by providing essential grocery supplies and sacks of rice. The initiative aimed at providing gifts during this holiday season for city employees, includes faculty and staff from Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmarinas (KLD).


The much-needed provisions, comprising a range of grocery items and substantial quantities of rice, were stored in the city warehouse before being transported to the KLD campus for distribution. The entire process was orchestrated to ensure a seamless and organized allocation of supplies to those in need.
This benevolent initiative not only addresses the immediate needs of city employees and the academic community at KLD but also highlights the proactive approach of the local government in responding to the challenges posed by current economic conditions.
