Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs

Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs

Message from the Vice President for Academic Affairs

Throughout my life, I have been a witness of the power of education as a tool to change lives. I firmly believe in Nelson Mandela’s saying that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” I carried this belief staunchly when I entered the Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas as a faculty member.

Now as the Vice President for Academic Affairs, I am proud to be part of this institution whose mission is to provide free, high quality tertiary education to the students of the City of Dasmariñas. This is a result of the shared vision of Mayor Jennifer Austria-Barzaga and our late Congressman Elpidio Barzaga Jr. The City of Dasmariñas is truly fortunate to have leaders who prioritize the education of its citizens.

The programs that KLD offers are designed to strengthen the knowledge-based economy of the City of Dasmariñas. This is done through academic policies that emphasize critical thinking, creativity, and a deep sense of social responsibility. Our students are being prepared to become leaders in their chosen fields, capable of making impactful contributions to their communities and the country at large. Our faculty members are passionate educators with lifelong aims to guide the younger generation towards success.

Together with the Deans, Directors, and other leaders of KLD, I express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has made KLD the great institution it is today. Together let us transform the world through education.

                                                                                          Regielene S. Gonzales, Ph.D.
