The Student Discipline Unit is a formative unit mainly responsible for promoting student discipline formation, ensuring and maintaining appropriate student’s decorum and indicating the values of initiatives, responsibility, and observance to the students. As formative unit, the student discipline unit strive to prevent rather than correct indecorous student behavior by intensifying and promoting preventive discipline approaches like discipline lectures and orientations and discipline related student activities.

The Student Activities and Development Head is pivotal in shaping campus excitement and empowerment. Championing student clubs from inception to full bloom, orchestrating unforgettable events like the intramurals, off-campus activities, Paru-paro festival and organizational fairs that buzz with energy. Dive into the heart of student life, coordinating bustling schedules, securing top-notch facilities, and sparking student leadership initiatives that redefine campus dynamics. Every update to the Student Handbook and every council meeting advised shapes a legacy celebrating diversity, creativity, and student engagement.

Sports and Wellness Development

The Sports and Wellness Development Unit focuses on students’ physical aspect and discipline and mental fortitude that comes from sportsmanship. Additionally, one’s sense of leadership and teamwork along with their confidence is enhanced in this unit.

Student publication, known as Los Sueňos, serves as a media outlet for the KLD community. Specifically, its primary objective is to cover a wide range of content that includes school-related activities and local, national, and international news, serving as a platform for students to be informed about campus events, hold leadership accountable, and inform the community about relevant issues. This unit serves as a platform for students to voice their perspectives, share significant events, and engage with their community. Hence, student publication plays a pivotal role in the development of students’ skills by providing them hands-on experience in writing, editing, and publishing content where they can enhance their communication skills, critical thinking, and creativity.

The Head of Admissions and Testing oversees the development of a sensible, considerate, and efficient admission procedure. He aspires to follow fair and reasonable admissions criteria based on college standards and be attentive to the demands of its stakeholders. He bears responsibility in assessing students for college admission, additionally plays a role in the preparation and administration of the KLD Admission Test (KLDAT), as well as coordinating the admission test results with the different institutes and the Registrar.

Alumni Affairs and Placement

The Head of the Alumni Affairs and Placement is responsible for the tracing of KLD graduates and alumni. She analyzes alumni outcomes, placement rates, and career trajectories. She is also involved in coordinating with the Institute of Student Affairs, Character Education and Citizenship for the placement of graduates and maintains strong relationships with alumni, industry partners, and potential employers.

The College Learning Commons (CLC) provides resources and services that foster learning, support literacy and education, and help shape the new ideas and perspectives that are essential in a creative and innovative society. It remains a hub of activity and learning for both teachers and students seeking academic nourishment. As a complementary partner in the institution’s commitment to excellent service, CLC provides a constantly relevant and updated collection of books, journals, electronic resources, and other materials that support the institution’s curricular programs. Its goal is to provide effective and efficient services to meet its clients’ research and information needs.

College Librarian

The College Librarian assists patrons with borrowing and returning library materials, including books, electronic resources, and other items. She ensures that items are properly borrowed and received. She assists patrons by providing renewal policies and procedures. She helps patrons locate materials, provides directional assistance within the library, and addresses general inquiries.

Library Staff

The Library Staff acts as custodian inside the library and its immediate premises. She organizes books, magazines, encyclopedias, dictionaries, and other library materials in their proper shelves or containers. She provides assistance to various clients in terms of reference materials. She maintains the orderly appearance of the library and carries out general office duties.

Guidance Services and Career Development Unit

The Guidance Services and Career Development Unit (GSCDU) is grounded in providing support, resources, and interventions to promote the well-being, personal and social growth, academic success, and career development of individuals within educational institutions and organizational settings. Moreover, it aims to assist every student in the acquisition of life skills and values, guiding them as they transition from being a student to becoming a full-fledged professional. 

The GSCDU provides both online and in-person counseling services to students on academic, social, emotional and career-related issues. The dual approach offered by the office ensures accessibility and flexibility in receiving support, whether clients prefer the convenience of virtual sessions or the personal interaction of meeting face-to-face.

The Head of the Guidance Services and Career Development Unit (GSCDU) works as the lead person in the planning and delivery of the activities reflected in the guidance program. She ensures the effective delivery of the program as well as supervises other counselors assigned in the unit. The head counselor fosters a positive and supportive school environment where students can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. In addition, aside from the services provided to the students, the head of the GSCDU extends assistance to other members of the academic community such as faculty and staff and even to the parents of students.

The Guidance Coordinator assists the guidance counselor in executing guidance programs, workshops, seminars, and other counseling services provided to students. She maintains and regularly updates individual student records, conduct exit interviews, and arrange follow-up sessions for students requiring assistance.


The Guidance Coordinator collaborates with the guidance counselor in advocating student’s needs and interests within the school community. He participates in the development and implementation of policies related to student guidance, counseling, and well-being. Together with the counselor, he supports students’ academic progress and well-being.

The Guidance Counselor conducts counseling sessions whether individual or in groups. She supports students in their personal, academic, and social development through career guidance, academic assistance, crisis intervention, collaboration with stakeholders, advocacy, and education within the school community. The counselor-counselee relationship’s goal is to cultivate client’s success and well-being across all areas of life.
