Vision
The Institute of Liberal Arts aspires to be one of the emerging leaders in a wide array of social science disciplines that traverse human variations and complexities stabilized by collaborative approaches for designing a quality and sustainable life.
Mission
The Institute of Liberal Arts is committed to serving as the cradle of foundational knowledge that seeks to understand diverse and dynamic communities. It aims to be characterized as a community of dignified experts and professionals that applies interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, pluridisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches to understand and address complex societal issues for securing human-centered development.
Institute Goals
In essence, the Institute of Liberal Arts shall endeavor to:
- Institutionalize globally relevant and future-oriented academic programs taught and presented in praxis-driven and service-learning approaches;
- Promote an inclusive learning ecosystem nurtured by happiness, decency, integrity, transparency, and accountability;
- Develop institute activities that upskill, reskill, and new skill professionals capable of surviving in uncertain future;
- Produce highly skilled and expert thinking graduates characterized by having an entrepreneurial mindset and mission-oriented connection with ever-changing environment;
- Strengthen KLD core values (Knowledge, Leadership, and Dedication) among our students, faculty, and non-teaching personnel, making them the living extension of the institution; and
- Inspire our students, faculty, and non-teaching personnel to practice ethical leadership and show commitment to various initiatives aimed at contributing to the socio-economic development of the City of Dasmariñas and the nation as a whole.
